Quick heads up guys as we have couple of hot rumours floating around the blogosphere. I’m showing all of them in one post here. Read on.
A photo has leaked out showing what it looks like a Nokia phablet in cyan. The screen of the device looks much bigger and the bezel also looks reduced. Resolution of screen apparently looks bigger as there’s an extra column for the live tiles (it’ll be shipping with GDR3 update that would be adding support for bigger screen resos and processors). Below is the original photo.
The device is called the Lumia 1030 as it obviously would be a higher end device than 9xx series.
Nokia may be working on such a device already. There’s a market for these types devices which the competition is already enjoying. It would be great to see if this (or any other Nokia phablet) comes out to offer choices for consumers. What do you guys reckon?
In yet another rumour about the Nokia EOS 41MP monster, it is revealed that this Windows Phone 8 based camera flagship from Nokia will be about 1mm thinner than Lumia 920 (with the said ‘hump’ on), and also that it will take two shots at a time, one of 35MP for saving and the other of 5MP for sharing purpose. The screen is said to be the same 768×1280. And yes, there is no mention of OIS in this device. So far we have got these specifications about EOS from various sources:
1. 41 MP camera with Xenon flash
2. Nokia Pro Camera
3. 32 GB internal
4. OLED Screen 768X1280
5. WP8 V 8.0.10322.71
6. FM radio
7. Flip to silence
8. Polycarbonate body
9. Takes a 35 MP picture and a 5 MP picture at the same time one to save one to share
10. Comes in yellow
11. No SD card
12. About 1 mm thinner than Lumia 920 with a big camera hump
13. No visible OS changes
This device will be running the Nokia Amber update as the ‘Flip to Silence’, ‘FM Radio’ and ‘Nokia Pro Camera’ are the parts of it.
Nokia EOS is rumoured to be launching this July.
While many sources says that Nokia EOS is already at AT&T for trials (WPC also says a device codenamed ‘Elvis’ has entered there for trials), NokiaPowerUser‘s sources confirms that not only the 41MP EOS is under trials at AT&T, but also a Nokia tablet is there already for ‘simultaneous’ trials. They says that the previously leaked image of nokia tablet with Adidas’ MiCoach app is indeed real. And that the tablet might be going to launch with Nokia EOS in July or may be with a separate lauch event. This image (given above) was leaked by @evleaks.
It seems that July is going to be a big month for Nokia. 😉
