Nokia Lumia 928 officially launched, coming to stores on May 16 at $99

After soo many leaks and teases, Nokia Lumia 928, the much-awaited Verizon Wireless exclusive smartphone, has finally been made official by Nokia. Nokia calls it “The newest expression of the world’s most innovative smartphone”, bringing the world-class technologies by Nokia to Verizon Wireless.

Lumia 928 brings PureView camera technology for capturing blur-free photos & videos even in low-light. Nokia has also put in three HAAC mics in the phone to capture high-end distortion-free audio even in the noisiest environments. These microphones can capture upto 140db of noise without any distortion.

Nokia Lumia 928 will feature a 4.5″ 1280×768 OLED display with Gorilla glass 2, 2000 mAh battery, 1.5 ghz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1Gb RAM, 8.7 MP PureView camera with a Xenon and an LED flash, Wireless Charging, etc. See more specs here.

Nokia’s Lumia apps such as HERE Maps, HERE Drive+ and HERE City Lens, Nokia Music, etc will be supported.

It will be hitting the Verizon stores on may 16th at a cost of $99 with 2 year contract.
