LEAK: Nokia’s aluminium bodied ‘Catwalk’ images leaked

A couple of images of Nokia’s upcoming high end wp8 smartphone codenamed Nokia Catwalk have come out of grey this morning. This new phone is said to be light-weight Lumia 920, means the hardware specs will be the same as of the lumia 920 but it will be lighter and thiner than 920, though the camera in Nokia Catwalk might be better than Lumia 920.

The design looks absolutely gorgeous. The aluminium body looks really nice. Edges are round and smoothened. The top of the phone has a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB port (or a Micro HDMI port?), and a SIM card door like we have on Lumia 920 and 720. The back of the phone contains a big round camera with a little hump (maybe because the phone is too thin to hide the camera module), a repositioned LED flash, and a speaker grill on the bottom. The phone also has wireless charging support according to Qi standards (three dots just like lumia 720).

The specs of this phone is most likely to be: 4.5” display with an OCTA display, S4 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 16GB of storage down from 32gb (and there’s no mention of Micro-SD card slot), 2000mAh battery and an 8.7MP OIS camera with LED flash. Dimension wise this phone will be 50 grams than and 2.33mm less thicker than Lumia 920.

Fake or not? What do you guys think?

WPCentral, in their latest update, says that these images are indeed real.

We have spoken to someone familiar with this alleged device who can confirm that it is indeed, accurate.

This phone is said to be launching on May 15th. We’ll surely see some more leaks by that time. 😉
