Source familiar with Nokia’s plans at MyNokiaBlog has shared some information with them related to Nokia’s upcoming camera flagship.
According to that source, Nokia are working on two different variants of their upcoming flagship (which is rumoured to be called Nokia EOS), one is with a Dual core qualcomm processor and the other is with a Quad core Snapdragon 800 processor. Their source says that the main problem behind testing two versions is poor battery performance with Quad core version, which might lead to release a Dual core version.
This phone is also said to have a 2000mAh battery, similar 1280×768 display resolution with an AMOLED screen. The camera of this phone might have a 41MP sensor, a variable aperture lens (like what we have in N86), Xenon and LED flash, OIS and a changed camera user interface (like in 808). The phone is also said to have an FM-Transmitter, a Memory card slot and a Micro HDMI port.
Nokia EOS will first launch as an AT&T exclusive, with the global release following 1-3 months after.
What do you reckon of this leak? I think they should use a bigger resolution display even if they’re using a dual core cpu, as the recently leaked GDR3 update would enable them to do so.
