According to WPCentral, the above given image is a photo of a prototype of Nokia Lumia 950. The phone is very rectangular in shape with curved edges (which looks a bit like…iPhone ?! Eh! ).
They are told that the phone will have a resolution of 1280×768 because there’s no planned 1080p support for WindowsPhone in the near future (well done Microsoft), with the AMOLED PureMotion HD+ panel which is found in Lumia 920. Battery life is said to be its main thrust.
Camera sensor won’t be a 41MP but it will feature the lossless zoom and oversampling technologies with Lumia 920 like low light photo capturing capabilities and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It is also said to have a…. XENON flash (ah! Finally!!).
2Gb RAM with other internals are also there that would help to ‘future proof’ for some time.
Real or Fake? WPCentral have given it 5 out of 10 in their “Rum-o-metre”.
Design wise, the phone looks pretty decent, doesn’t looks like nokia’s fabula designs we’re seeing in the existing devices (looks a bit like iPhone too tbh). Nokia logo at the top is back in the centre. The windows phone capacitive button at the bottom is changed (or is it covered with a sticker? ).
Phone’s hardware specifications looks pretty good too. Camera and RAM (and most probably other internal specs) will be greater than the current flagship Lumia 920 as they should be.
We’ll know more about this device in the coming weeks. Keep checking this space. 🙂
