Nokia Betalabs releases Webview widget for Symbian

Guys at Nokia Betalabs have released a new widget for Symbian smartphones- The Webview Widget. This widget shows the users up-to-date information of the selected webpage right on their homescreen. Users can set a webpage for them and set up the view of the webpage they want to get updates from, just like in the image shown below.

After doing all this, all you need to do is to just go to the homescreen you have set this widget on. It’ll connect to that webpage and give you the latest updates if there are any.

This is very nice widget and pretty useful too. I tested it on my N8 and it is working fine without any problem. Its good to see Betalabs guys still working and providing things for Symbian. Great piece of work done by them in this widget.

This widget is available to download & install on Symbian Belle, Belle Refresh, Belle FP1 and Belle FP2 devices. Download this widget from here.

What do you think of this widget? Nokia Betalabs are looking for your feedback on this widget. Give them your feedback here.
