Tall, Slim, Light. Nokia Catwalk: Lumia 920’s successor with aluminium build already in works ?

After the successful release of 2012 flagship- The Nokia Lumia 920, Nokia is planning their new line of WP8 Lumias for 2013 and according to the source, Nokia might be switching back to the Aluminium builds for their new product launches this year.

With Lumia 920’s sales going strong around the world, one of the things that people found not good in it is its weight and thickness. The polycarbonate build is pretty solid and smooth but its adds lil more weight to 920 as its a bit more heavier than its competition. Apparently, Nokia is planning to launch their new phones later this year (most probably at the Nokia World 2013) with the aluminium builds for lowering the overall weight without making any major changes in specifications. And one of those new handsets Nokia’s going to launch this year, codenamed Catwalk, is said to come with this new build.

We have already seen Nokia’s aluminium casing in the products like the Nokia N8 which is quite sturdy and durable. The reception is not that good as it is in a polycarbonate build though.
