Nokia Lumia 920 to launch in India on Jan 15, with support of 9 LTE frequencies?

Nokia’s new windows phone 8 flagship which was announced back in October this year at the Nokia World 2012 – The Nokia Lumia 920 has been selling pretty good around the world and is anxiously awaited to arrive in India. Nokia India held an event few days ago in which popular bloggers did their hands-on the Lumia 920’s indian variant.

In the same event, bloggers from NDTV and Hindustan Times also spent some of their time with this new handset and have reviewed them on their sites.

NDTV’s video review:

Another review by Hindustan Times:

And finally this link says that the 920 may be made available in india for Rs. 38000 and might hit the shelves on 15th January next year.

Meanwhile an image is leaked out showing that the indian variant of Lumia 920 may have the most no. of LTE frequencies, even more than the UK and the US versions of it.

It is an interesting leak considering the fact that LTE is not being widely used in India, 3G and mostly 2G networks are still dominating here. I don’t get why Nokia has given 9 LTE frequencies in the indian version of the 920.
