Nokia 206 and Asha 205 officially announced

Today we have two new member in Nokia’s smart feature phone range- The Nokia Asha 205 and The Nokia 206

Nokia Asha 205:-

Nokia claims that Asha 205 is the most social Nokia Asha to date. It provides host of new features to the user. The QWERTY keyboard with isolated keys lets user to type faster and the dedicated Facebook button (first time on a Nokia) lets user to stay connected with friends and family. And the all-new Slam Sharing feature lets user to share the files over bluetooth without any kind of pairing and code matches. The user will just have to select “Slam” from the “Send” option of the file and the other phone (not necessarily be a Nokia) will receive the file right away.

Just like all the previous Nokia Asha phones, Asha 205 comes with all the Nokia Perks such as Nokia Maps, Nokia Nearby, 40 FREE EA Games, and not to mention the fast Nokia Xpress Browser which compresses and saves upto 90% data cost for the user. It also comes in a Dual Sim variant with Easy swap capability.

Nokia Asha 205 will be made available to the markets from Q4 2012 at a price of USD $62 (Rs. 3400 INR) without any taxes and subsidies.

Nokia 206:-

Nokia 206 brings the fanstatic design somewhat taken from Nokia’s Lumia smartphone series, with the traditional keypad input and stunning 2.4 inch display. It looks really gorgeous, its camera design on the back resembles Lumia 800/900/920 cameras designs.

Just the Nokia Asha 205, Nokia 206 comes in single as well as dual sim modules, offers Nokia’s latest Slam Sharing Technology which makes sharing files via bluetooth easier and time saving and also provides fast internet surfing experience with Nokia Xpress Browser.

Nokia 206 also offers easy connectivity to Facebook with Facebook and E-buddy apps pre-loaded. Whatsapp (Free IM service) is also supported in the single sim variant, and comes with 10 free top games downloadable from Nokia Store. The 1.3 megapixel camera has ‘intelligent imaging’ feature, which will tell user when self-portraits are in focus, and allows user to take a sequence of shots and choose the best. Video capture is also supported in this phone.
